No we don't. We have manuscripts written by men long after he was purported to have lived. These manuscripts are similar to other manuscripts written to describe prophets in other religions.

I can think no more than anyone else about whether it is a story or history but it's a good one in either case.

The manuscripts look to be stories.

I'm not sure what you expect to gain from this line but I am the first to admit, I would find television much harder to prove to someone not here to experience it during this time than I would convincing someone the story of Jesus is historically accurate according to the records of credible scholars.

Strange. There is considerable scientific evidence to support the concept of a TV. There is no scientific evidence that supports the existence of Jesus.
