I couldn't find that either. I just tinkered with it until I got what I wanted. All the options are under format-custom numbers. I'm not sure if you have tried it or not but select the cell you want to format. Select format-custom #. The cell's format will be highlighted. Select ALL under the categories for a complete list of the existing formats. You can change the colors within these formats by trial and error. I haven't seen the codes for new formats however. If you find them please post to this thread. Mike
