Likud is obviously more closely connected to Israel than Hamas is connected to Palestine. Perhaps, but that's irrelevant. The statement that Hamas calls for the destruction of Israel is a statement about Hamas, not about Palestine. The statement about Likud on the other hand was presented as a statement about Israel, and once again Likud != Israel. Thanks for making my point for me. You say something that is technically true but both irrelevant and misleading at the same time. Likus is not exactly equal to Israel. Correct. But it is almost exactly equal to Israel, since it is the ruling party favored by the mainstream of Israel's population. And the hate mongering genocidal policies of Likud have been at the core of Zionism since Day 1. And you CONSISTENTLY support them. Also it was Ariel Sharon (who was in Likud at the time) who ordered the "disengagement"/pull back from Gaza. Wrong. Ariel Sharon ordered a pullout of Israeli settlements from Gaza, but not Israeli troops. Israel still routinely bombs and invades Gaza, while occupying the most crucial land in Gaza, the coast. I know it doesn't bother you when a nation is blockaded and starving, because as I said before you are scum. But Israel is doing that to the Gazans, and this justifies any actions by the Palestinians. Tom
