Depends on the local market, as always.....I'm being somewhat facetious with the above. But I've had 2 neighbors move out in the last year, one foreclosed on (presumably after HELOC'ing off all the equity). The other bought at the top and is trying to short sell. I'd be surprised if the bank takes even a reasonable offer given how far underwater he was.
