Problem is they are not hiring in FLA. They should be. This Q's results are critical for me. If Hauslein does not make some substantial progress in cost reductions, then it is clear to me that he is not interested in enhancing shareholder value (except perhaps on his own timetable to benefit his own shareholding).

It is tough to say how they did. Based on sales and normal margins and normal sg&a expenses, they will be right around the estimates for a small loss. If Hauslein took an aggressive attitude toward the store closings and some other cost reduction measures, there is no reason IMO why RAYS shouldn't surprise to the upside with at least a break even Q.

Has anyone noticed the prices on the sunglasses? Usually they get discounted after the end of summer. But RAYS should get lower price concessions from manufacturers to offset this.
