re: "Call me all the names you want Slider..."
I, in large measure, blame the arms race of deception, intent on achieving partisan advantage, for the dumbing down of America. Thus, the last 25 years, give or take, have set us up for what is now happening. The smokescreen of partisanship seems to me to be one of the most effective tools of those you hate the most."

"I, in large measure..."
"Thus..."
Where do you people come from?
No one talks like that in real life, don't be a poseur.
Crying "partisanship" in response to my criticism of Obama and his mob of Marxist-socialist Alinskyites, isn't a rebuttal, ... it's an intellectual cop out.
What Bush or the Republicans did, or didn't do, doesn't matter any more. That was then - this is now.
It's not the Republicans who are pushing America headlong into the failed socialist, union/welfare state model that's now imploding all across Europe.
It was Obama who was on the phone to Merkel, Sarkozy, and Brown last week, imploring them to quadruple the size of the PIIGS bank bailout (and the size of US taxpayer contributions to the IMF) from $250 billion to $1 trillion dollars.
It was Obama who in his first 20 months, added as much debt as George Bush ran up in eight years.
And it's Obama's spending plan that will double the national debt in five years, and nearly triple it in 10.
Here's a chart that doesn't even include Obamacare, comparing Bush vs. Obama deficits:

As far as partisanship, I'm a Ron Paul supporter and I've been highly critical of the Republicans and have continually written about the false left/right paradigm of the Hegelian Dialectic and "The Quigley Formula" of the CFR.
But it wasn't the Republican's who shoved a Stimulus Spending bill, Waxman Markey Cap & Trade, and Obamacare down our throats without ever getting a chance to see the final bill before a forced vote.
Even John Stewart called out Obama on his hypocrisy, and on his broken promise to broadcast the final health care bill negotiations on C-Span...

Is John Stewart partisan?
The entire core of Democrat Party is beginning to wake up to the charade called "Brand Obama."
Democrats now realize they've been duped, and many are finally awakening from their childlike uptopian trance.
Here's someone who caught on to the illusion known as "Brand Obama" early on...
John Pilger, the far left, liberal documentarian and investigative reporter called out Obama for being a fraud, and nothing but "a manufactured brand" at Socialist 2009 in San Francisco (not exactly what you'd call a partisan Republican event).
Listen to what Pilger had to say about Obama...

"The clever young man who recently made it to the White House is a very fine hypnotist. Partly because it is indeed extraordinary to see an African-American at the pinnacle of power in the land of slavery. However, this is the 21st Century, and race together with gender, and even class, can be very seductive tools of propaganda. For what is so often overlooked and what matters, I believe, above all, is the class one serves.
George Bush's inner circle from the State Department to the Supreme Court was perhaps the most multi-racial in Presidential history. It was “PC” par-excellence. Think Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell. But it was also the most reactionary.
Obama's very presence in the White House appears to reaffirm “the moral nation.” He's a marketing dream, but like Calvin Klein, or Benetton, he's a brand that promises something special, something exciting almost risque`, as if he might be radical, as if he might enact change. He makes people feel good. He's a post-modern man with no political baggage... and all that's fake.
In his book “Dream From My Father,” Obama refers to the job he took after he graduated from Colombia in 1983... he describes his employer as, and I quote: “a consulting house to multi- national corporations,” unquote. For some reason he doesn't say who his employer was, or what he did there. The employer was Business International Corporation, which has a long history of providing cover for the CIA with covert action, and infiltrating unions on the left. I know this because it was especially active in my home country, Australia.
During his brief period in the Senate, Obama voted to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. He voted for the Patriot Act. He refused to support a bill for single payer health care. He supported the death penalty. As a presidential candidate he received more corporate backing than John McCain.
He promised to close Guantanamo as a priority, but instead he's excused torture, reinstated military commissions, kept the Bush gulag intact, and opposed Habeas Corpus. Daniel Ellsberg, the great whistle blower, was right I believe, when he said – “under Bush, a military coup had taken place in the United States, giving the Pentagon unprecedented powers.” These powers have been reinforced by the presence of Robert Gates, a Bush family crony, and George W. Bush's Secretary of Defense, and by all the Bush Pentagon officials and generals who have kept their jobs under Obama.
In the middle of a recession with millions of Americans losing their jobs and homes, Obama has increased the military budget.
In Colombia he is planing to spend $46 million dollars on a new military base that will support a regime backed by death squads, and further the tragic history of Washington's intervention in that region.
In a pseudo-event in Prague, Obama promised a world without nuclear weapons to a global audience, mostly unaware that America is building new tactical weapons designed to eliminate the distinction between nuclear and conventional war.
Like George Bush, he used the absurdity of Europe threatened by Iran, to justify building a missile system aimed at Russia and China.
In another pseudo-event at the Annapolis Naval Academy, decked with flags and uniforms, Obama lied, saying that America had gone to Iraq to bring freedom to that country.
He announced that the troops were coming home.
This was another deception. The head of the Army, General George Casey said with some authority that America will be in Iraq for a decade. Other generals say 15 years.
Chris Hedges the very fine author of “Empire of Illusion” puts it very well...
“President Obama, he wrote, does one thing, and Brand Obama gets you to believe another."
This is the essence of successful advertising. You buy, or do what the advertiser wants, because of how they make you feel.
And so you are kept in a perpetual state of childishness."

Is John Pilger partisan?
Or is he merely trying to awaken the liberal left from their childlike trance regarding Brand Obama?
Here's more evidence of the liberal left awakening to the hoax known as "Brand Obama," the man who says one thing, but always does another...
Air America called Obama nothing but "a charming liar."
breitbart.tv
Rachel Maddow called out Obama for his hypocrisy and lies in this scathing critique, calling his assault on the constitution - "worse than Bush & Cheney's."
youtube.com
Seymour Hersh and Michael Moore are calling out Obama for his broken campaign promises on ending the wars, and on what now may be possible "War Crimes" in Afghanistan.

And after giving Obama 95% of the black vote, Black America has now awakened from the smoke & mirrors, with black unemployment now at "25 year highs" under Obama...
washingtonpost.com
With even the Congressional Black Caucus stating the obvious...
"Obama is in Wall Street's pocket."
tns1.blackagendareport.com
Even liberal, feminist writer Naomi Wolfe, who wrote "The End America" during the Bush administration, is now calling out Obama for his broken promises of restoring the constitution, repealing the Patriot Act, ending rendition, torture, and the war... saying he's doing the exact opposite, and that his administration is becoming even more repressive than that of Bush/Cheney.

Partisanship?
Do those critiques of Obama from the core of the Democratic base sound like "partisanship?"
Grow up.
The entire world see's that Obama is driving America headlong into the failed European, socialist-welfare state model, that's now imploding all across Europe.
If you want to intellectually defend Obama's Marxist-socialism, and the European union-welfare state model, then stand up and do it.
Crying "partisanship" doesn't cut it.
Neither does your childlike "can't we all just get along," Kumbaya pablum.
