Early innings yet but... four months in a row of increasing jobs.

Highest surge in *manufacturing* jobs that we have seen in 12 years.

And, the overall U-3 rate remaining at 9.9% (despite the heightened job growth numbers) is an artifact reflecting the fact that MORE discouraged unemployed have recently begun looking for work again (after not even being counted in the unemployment rate for some time now) and this has added to the counted numbers of the job-seekers. (That renewed hope is, of course, more of a *good* thing then a bad thing though....)

Very early innings still though.

It will take YEARS of above-average job growth to push down America's high rate for structurally unemployed.
