Problem is though that the idiot builders are building again (thanks to Clowngress lavishing tax gifts on them which were unnecessary and as we are seeing actually counterproductive. "Invisible hand" was amputated on that move).

So the inventory stays high and price gains are snuffed out anywhere they start to appear. It'll be that way for years.

<This is all one giant game that involves collusion between banks and the US government to limit supply to prop up prices.>

If they don't create some jobs soon, and release the chokehold on loans then its a giant game they are going to lose.

Did they walk away literally or have they shirked their loan repayment responsibilities and live rent free across the way? If the latter, how does it feel? It kinda burns my short hairs just reading about it.

Same thing here....the banks are holding properties everywhere....empty houses all around me....phantom inventory. I think right now....1 in 7 houses are empty.
But, my newspaper said, 'housing is coming back'. LOL.
There's recovery....everything is fixed....greenshoots out the wazoo....
just like in Greece. ;-)
