There has been no free market. The the existence of the Fed and CB's means there is no "free market".

Like I said earlier. It's a bit like Alfred the Great saying there was no need to defend England from the Vikings as it was just the "free market" operating. That if Alfred said to his army and soldiers just to go and take a long holiday, and ignore the mayhem around them. Even some of his own troops (e.g. Brooksly Born) objected to what was going on, and he had them hushed up all the way back to 1998.

This is why there is a huge number of investigations going on, even at this moment.
