The problem today is not the semi sector(s) which at the moment are looking OK and the business outlook looks pretty good into the forseeable future. The problem is the world economic fiscal situation which doesn't look very good and is in the forefront of the news recently. The economic outlook is uncertain and who knows how long this is going to continue. The net result is it is hard to read the market over the short term when it is at the mercy of international turmoil.
