A simplistic and amateurish (according to the expert here) answer to the fat finger question - the derivative Ponzi now got so large it requires constant printing. If not, we'll see many fat fingers. Thus, the timing is now, since nobody seems to figure this out. The ECB thingy was a loan, and that won't work.
