If we leave Afghanistan Israel will not come to an end...Israel has one of the most elite and sophisticated intelligence services, a very highly trained army, and they even have nuclear weapons...The United States provides Israel with billions of taxpayer support every year and Israel will not have a problem defending their country. Yet, the war in Afghanistan can't be won and may even make things worse...We can leave the CIA and a few Special Forces brigades to monitor things in the mountains of Afghanistan and Pakistan...but we sure DO NOT need over 100,000 troops in Afghanistan -- each troop member costs over $1 Million tax dollars to support each year too...think about all the gas/fuel we use to keep the crazy war going in Afghanistan -- all those Hummers, helicopters, supply planes, aircraft carriers...they all use A LOT of oil and we don't seem to be accomplishing much in Afghanistan...former CIA Exec Bob Baer thinks we may even be making things worse in Afghanistan...You don't see China wasting precious economic resources on wars -- they would rather spend aggressively on becoming a true global leader in wind and solar power...Where's the better return on investment...??
