[US West Surprise]

Steve and all,

"response to its new high-speed digital subscriber line Internet-access service in Phoenix exceeded its original projection by threefold in its first week of availability."

I think the USWest's experience comfirms what we have always known here.
If you offer a high band with option to customers at a reasonable price, you will be swamped with demand. 1700 customers in one week in one city is a great response. Definitely would not want to get too cute about extrapulating the possibilities, but if the demand on a nationwide basis is 3x what companies are expecting, I think we might need to move up our revenue projections.

Even though AMTX might drift down a bit more in the next week, I bought some more at 15.5 this morning, and may buy some more if it dips below 15.

Regards, Bret
