Women should desert Dems due to the latters rampant misogyny - they preferred to run a flamin' socialist man rather than a woman(Hillary). Libs treat women like 2nd class citizens.

When one is young it is easy to be dewey eyed and liberal. For women, that transition to becoming conservative coincides with their being concerned about family, finances and social issues that directly affect their families and them. That transition often occurs when the government wants to put a 4 lane highway beside of their dream house or dream development. Or, on a personal level------why is Johnny or Susie not getting good grades in elementary school. Or, they want to put a new roof on the house or buy a house---so the question becomes one of examination. President Reagan was elected on his own merit. Reagan was also elected by the young women who were angry young mothers and single women fed up with the unheard of inflation under Carter-----fed up with crime that was creeping into their neighborhoods due to drug dealing in their schools---fed up with losing their children to drunk driving. (Virginia was littered with little crosses marking the places that these young people died due to driving drunk or another vehicle having a drunk driver.) What I am saying is that as the age of innocence fades young women and also young men tend to become more conservative in their thinking and how they vote. They awaken --------particularly, if they are not already a part of the drug culture that destroys people's minds and bodies. This is how Reagan won his landslide victory-------via the fury of women and men in the prime years of their lives.
