Doesn't overleverage in the system explain the sensitivity to small collapses? Otherwise sub-prime should not have brought down the banking system.

what was the comparative size of Mercosur vs Eurozone, not trying to be funny but perhaps relative sizes do matter. In no way am I trying to defend Euro region vs LATAM - Euro region is a nightmare. It's not that Greece is toast, the whole Euro area is burnt bread
