<What caused the slide today with so small volume?
Is there any news?>

An abrupt price decrease on small volume can
sometimes be a market maker's way of obtaining shares,
it happened to one of the stocks
I own, UNSN, about a week before the company sold out to IBM.
That was an abrupt decrease and by the end of the day had
recovered to around 75% of what it was at the end of the previous day. Someone had "managed" to get the shares cheaply that day,
for just a couple of hours.

I'm not saying that today's trading means anything in the
short-term, just what my own experience says can happen,
on rare occasions.

Regards,
Dave
