Karl: I had a nice chat with Dr. Platt not long ago. Aside from being a brilliant scientist, I found him to be very pleasant and personable. He is probably the world's leading expert on carbohydrate chemistry and like any solid RND lab, he has many irons in the fire. If GBC-590 makes it through all the hoops (and I believe it will) the man deserves a Noble Prize. This area has been in the shadows of protein chemistry for too long, and I believe Dr.Platt is going to be the one to shed new light in this area. Stay tuned for more.
