It is also the reason we should not delegate many duties to the government.

We certainly shouldn't delegate them to people who are unaccountable to the rest of society, preferably through the ballot box.

Government is made up of people LJ.. It's not government that is corrupt, it is the people who obtain those governmental positions of power and betray the public trust.
