Earlier I spoke of a High Tight Flag. Here's something I wrote about this some time ago. Thought those that aren't into TA would be interested.
----------------------------------------------------------------
A high tight flag is VERY rare and VERY powerful. Here's the criteria:

1. 100-120% gain in 4-8 weeks. (yep)

2. corrects in a tight sideways pattern for anywhere from 3-6 weeks retracing no more than 10-20% (yep)

3. made original advance from a nice long base. (yep)

4. Emerges from that base with important news, earnings, product cycle (yep,)

5. Heavy vol. during original run-up ("flag-pole")(YEP!)

6. Vol. dries up during the consolidation phase. (the "flag")(Yep again)

Looks like it meets all the criteria to me.

What we would look for now is some news, in conjunction with some heavy vol. and a spike in price breaking us out of the "flag". (this appears to have happened today)

A stock that forms this pattern usually will give you another 100+% move in a very short time period and can easily yield much more than that when a JV, gold, etc. are announced.
