If your pundits are going to try and be cool and use a German word, at least spell it correctly.

As for why the asshole....I mean author is gloating, Chavez slowly is turning his country into a dictatorship.......that's hardly a model for any economy.......capitalist or socialist. In the US, we stand for democracy.......I thought. And btw Venezuela's economy is still mostly capitalist.

Beyond that, I don't get the point of the article.

Chavez is providing yet another lesson in why socialism / leftism just doesn't work. There have been so many such lessons over the past century it's amazing there are people who don't get it.
