Re -- The machines at $1000-$1500 systems are very capable (even include pentium-166/200), are you saying those CPUs are junk or will be junk soon just because it is sold at lower price.

Yeah, with a 1.6G drive, cheap graphics, slow ROM drive, crappy 13" monitors sure business are going to buy them.

Re -- I doubt corporate will spend an extra million of so a year to buy "smart terminal" / PC.

You forget the maintainence/upgrades ($10000/year) is the main concern of corporations. Not the extra $500-1000 one time cost/pc.
