Listened to the latest technical update from BP, as yet they are unaware of any sub sea level plume. All they know about is stuff on the surface and they have that under control so far.

So, apart from what I have seen in the newspaper, no confirmation of oil below the surface yet.

The Gulf Stream is probably far enough offshore by the time it gets to NJ, but it looks like it could be bad news for the Keys and Miami ...
