Another note of interest. B.P have put a ballpark figure on the amount of oil they are recovering.

The riser insertion tube tool (RITT) containment system that was put into place in the end of the leaking riser is operational. It is estimated to be collecting and carrying about 2,000 barrels a day (b/d) of oil to flow up to the drillship
