Why didn't Bush ask for a tax increase to pay for the war he started? It was fiscally irresponsible to start two wars costing a trillion dollars and not requesting any taxes to pay for them.

Hopefully one can always find some things done well by a President. But, Bush was fiscally a liberal and he did not fight spending nor control it.

The growth in ta revenues was tremendous, but spending was and is out of control.

What we saw last night is that voters are angry because of amongst other things the fiscal irresponsibility of those in Washington. That is good and about time...
