That is probably untrue. The earth itself leaks a lot( millions of barrels) of crude into the oceans and the environment handles it. You can't cite this type of disaster and start hugging trees saying or make stupid comparisons to justify ignorance or deflect responsibility. This accident offsets the delicate balance that exists in Nature. But, off balance is the environment the World exists in today.<g>

How many times more is this thing releasing into the Oceans than the Valdez? BP claims it is pumping 2000 barrels a day off the flow.

Perspective is this is HUGE...you can see it from space.
