With all of the perverts in Congress, I wonder if some bright journalist will discover that Joe Sestak was a "Rear Admiral?" <G> Actually, the guy made Vice Admiral, which doesn't sound all that clean cut, either, but didn't hold the position long enough to retire at that rank.

Zeus,

IMO there should be no federal laws against being a bigot. You should be free to say whatever you want, do whatever you want with your own private property, and socialize with whoever you want etc... Non bigots in turn should help reduce bigotry via education and by not doing business and not associating with bigots.

Laws should only be applicable when an individual acts on those bigoted beliefs and harms someone else, but those criminal laws have pretty much existed everywhere all along.

That there are some individuals (including law enforcement personnel) that occasionally still break those laws is an entirely different law enforcement matter that has little to do with states rights.

If a state had a set of laws that some people felt were unfair or if people felt they were being treated unfairly despite reasonable laws, nothing would stop them from leaving and moving to another state.

If the federal government makes a set of laws that some people believe are unfair, their only choice is to hand in their citizenship and leave the country. Even that wouldn't be such a terrible option (my grandparents did that after all) if the left and banking elite hadn't already destroyed the economic and moral future of pretty much the entire planet.
