Thursday November 6 1:29 PM EST Company Press Release Cyclopss Chairman Resigns Due to Health Problems SALT LAKE CITY--(BW HealthWire)--Nov. 6, 1997--Cyclopss Corp. (NASDAQ:OZON) Thursday announced that its chairman has tendered his resignation, effective immediately, due to personal health concerns. John M. Williams, 47, had been Cyclopss' chairman since April of 1990, when the company began full operations. His service to the company has included several top posts but, in 1995, his role began to be gradually scaled back in order that he spend more time with his family. In a letter to the board, Williams said, ''Please don't allow yourselves to interpret my resignation with any negative implications for the company or its future. Indeed, I have never felt more confident in the company's prospects for prosperity than I do at the current time. My resignation should be viewed simply as a requirement of a personal estate plan which will allow me to more adequately meet my personal and familial obligations.'' Said Bill Stoddard, long-time friend of Williams and current president and chief executive officer of Cyclopss, ''John has been a great friend and contributor to Cyclopss and his full-time presence will be sorely missed. However, John has agreed to make himself available on a part-time basis in the near term, so we fully expect him to continue to be a major contributor to the company's future growth.'' Stoddard will serve as interim chairman until the board elects a new one at the annual meeting, scheduled for Jan. 13, 1998. Cyclopss Corp. is one of the nation's leading developers of ozone application processes and technologies for industry. Among its products is a food and commercial laundry decontamination system that kills micro-organisms such as E.coli, Listeria, Giardia, Cryptosporidum and a host of blood-born pathogens.
