Most of the comments agree with your position. I don't know how much a of threat Didier is to Murray, but the readers aren't buying the effort by the STs to smear him. After all of these yrs reading political threads, articles, and opposing opinions, I am finally beginning to think American's get it. Even Brezinsky is worried. ;)

Maybe he DOES want to end subsidies, but he'd be a fool not to take them if he's eligible.

I spoke with a "farmer" yesterday who has 1600 acres in the county. The last time he grew a crop was 12 years ago. Government pays him $68,000 per year under the CRP program not to grow anything. All he has to do is control noxious weeds.
