I wonder where all the exuberance of the "tea party" and their press cohorts are coming from. They have not won an election against the Democrats. Are you aware of any. They have had a success with Rand Paul. But that success is against their fellow Republicans. Considering the interviews that Rand Paul has given since his victory, his election to the Senate is suspect.

I would agree with you that the media spin on PA 12 is not it should be if you can point me to where the tea party candidate won a Congressional election against Democrats.

PA 12 - They won by 8% when they have 100% more voters registered. Not a surprise regardless of how the media spun it.

Don't let the Dem reg. fool you. Its a very conservative area. Went for McCain in 2008. Polls were showing a very tight race. The Dems pulled it out because they did. They deserve the credit media is giving them.
