Thanks, the power density seems particularly important. The cost of raw materials, however, will have to be much less than half the NiMH if the overall cost is to be less given that it withstands roughly half the number of cycles. (I am assuming it is the shallow cycles that are limiting.) In fact it is conceivable that - given the cost of construction, distribution, and disposal - free raw materials would not compensate for shorter life.
