Check out Lucent's Center for Excellence in Distance Learning at lucent.com. A partnership between Apple and Lucent to use Lucent's networks for education seems to fit both companies like a glove.

Also, Gerard Klauer Mattison and Co. today upgraded Apple to a "Buy" with a 12-month target price of $25.

I'm using an apple at work and a home-made PC at home. I was going to buy a Mac7300/180 three days ago, but the salesman mentioned the 10th announcement & told me to wait until monday. I don't know how many people out there are in a boat similar to mine, but if the "news" is anything other that apple closing its doors, then I'm buying one on Monday- well maybe Tuesday if this G3 machine is as cheap as you say.
