This is the updated version of the Bookings and Billings table going all the way back to 1991. Bookings in April are larger than all previous years with the exception of 00, 04, 06, and 07. Adding together the Bookings of 08 and 09 for April of 1090 and 249 gives a total of 1339. The number of 1441 exceeds that number by 102M. Actually, the first 4 months of this year are only 429M less than the first 4 months of 08 and 09 added together. Billings hit the "bottom" of this cycle in April of 09 of 386M. This April the number of 1279M is 232 percent greater. Since Bookings have gone up this month and Backlog is still building, Billings will go up in May and probably June as well, which should provide for a strong June quarter reporting season.
