hello pezz, Re <<sold out ISSI for 9.31>>

... your confidence seems quite fragile.

i do not fault your fragility, for i checked the log, and if there was a strategy underpinning your moves, i failed to detect such; also was not successful in discerning your tactics by read of same log :0)

you seems to have committed classic errors, of fearing too soon, and being greedy to late.

hello pezz, today's report:

(i) i travelled from new sovereign beijing to world expo shanghai, will attend a meeting tomorrow and then decamp tomorrow night for freedom hong kong.

while at the airport in beijing at 7:30am, i could not help it, for the force is strong, and my will was weak. i am traditionally very weak in fighting temptations and i invariably submit to what must be.

i did my usual, arrived at beijing airport 3 hours ahead of takeoff to shanghai, ogled at some of the fellowettes sashay-ing about the great entrance hall. i muttering to self, "I want one", "I am hungry", and, I walked past china gold's shop (china stock symbol 600489 google.com , largest supplier on shanghai gold exchange) as well as the icbc bank store front. both had on prominent display that which is elemental, eternal, worthwhile, of merit, and beautiful.

i tried to pull away but my faith was too strong even as i recently sold off 3/4 of my paper gold.

so I used my visa card to acquire a 500 gram monetary bar priced at friday spot close + rmb 10 per gram expensive (3.88%) premium (selling back would be at spot less rmb 2/gram), paying penance for my paper gold selling sins, giving back some so i may receive more, and balanced my iphone and blackberry in left pocket with hand-warming pocket ballast in right pocket.

should the chinese focus on gold exchange as they do on garlic exchange, bean hoard, copper pile, and hainan real estate, gold should do at least 6x from here on into the future.

then i presented myself at foot massage shop. another irresistible temptation to surrender to.

the red cloth pouch is free :0)

note: the front of the monetary gold bar is inscripbed with logo, weight 500g, purity 99.99, and "china gold". the back is inscribed with the serial number matching a certificate, and the words "savings storage value gold bar"

the store also sells hard wood storage cases about the size of two shoe boxes with satin-lined drawers, so that one can start a collection of bars, all looking brilliant against red or dark blue satin.

i am sure any one getting a box would naturally want to fill the box with savings storage value,. otherwise known as "sleeping capital" awaiting the call of duty that never arrives.

(ii) upon landing in shanghai and checking into the hotel, i tapped away at the laptop keyboard and re-embraced with 100% of the paper gold i had earlier sold, and so i am again at high water mark for paper gold holdings in oz term, and extracted enough cash to make the out and back-in exercise worthwhile.

and so my faith is renewed, even as i extracted cash from strong faith ;0)

cheers, tj

p.s. the girl at the gold shop says about 30 customers buy physical every week, which to me means the fever is not apparent and the heat is not yet.

it is interesting that there are two gold shops at the beijing airport, and majority of icbc bank branches deal in physical gold, helping people to secure their savings against usa fiat money depravity and guard against euro dictate currency fiasco

while usa shops are buying gold from its captive population and advertising so on television.

where do they send the gold they buy? not to fill teeth?!

the chinese know about dead fiat monies. they have seen much such over the past 6000 years.

perhaps the trade deficit amongst the nations are being re-balanced the old fashioned way?
