Mang, I'm not aware of any other users of LSI's ASICs for their digital cameras. As for DVD, there was a discussion on this thread a couple of months back that LSI was prepared to support any or all of the versions of DVD then being proposed. Now we are beginning to see who is using LSI as their chip supplier.. The article showed an extremely low penetration rate for DVD in audio and video use; I personally had expected a higher adoption rate five years out, especially if a recordable DVD is developed and marketed within the next two years. Aren't you a little suprised that the article sees DVD applications largely limited to the computer? dlo
