The ABC report said we could see the fuel cells by 2001. They would only add $3000-5000 to price of today's auto, if mass produced.
Who knows what the truth is when it is reported by mass media? That was the party line they reported. If I could cut my fuel consumption by 5X, I'd do it when I buy a new car, all things being equal.
