Ted, > You don't like men who keep their word?

What does "keeping one's word" have to do with Obama's losing streak when it comes to candidates he directly supports?

Obama told Specter he would support him in his primary if he jumped parties. Obama is a man of his word.

Obama, like the party orgs, supports the more conservative candidate most of the time. In special elections and primaries lately, the left wing of the Democratic Party has done a great job getting behind candidates on the other side, while in the meantime, Obama's candidates have run lousy campaigns. That's pretty much all that's going on here.
