Germans are obviously pretty smart and rather productive, but if they have to bail out a recalcitrant Greece, the fruits of German ingenuity go to waste. When I visited Geneva, I wondered why the Swiss didn't join the Euro system, even though landlocked Switzerland is completely surrounded by nations on the Euro. I thought it was because of their banking system. Now I see it's also because they didn't want to end up like Germany. Tenchusatsu
