IMO, We are very far from the ideal republic ruled by law. I see a so-called democracy ruled by corporatism and big governments creating laws and more laws to support these organisations of profiteers. Most people are good and only need a minimum of an organized society to do well living with others. When there is too much governements, to much unions, unsounded money designed with the complicity of governments, you get the problems we are having today.
