Making yourself happy in a selfish manner doesn't always bring love and help to others.

One might be happier without having to get up several times a night with a crying baby .... and get rid of it or make sure you're never responsible for it.

Of course he doesn't get that!

They can never give. They always want something in return (instead of their self respect) for their love and value. They have NO true love or value. They are not addressing a VALUE. They are addressing a NEED.

Without a whole self (free of force and begging)--there is nothing to judge value.
