The right 1964 vote on the Civil Rights was to vote for it. Things were at a pass in this country that we could not equivocate on it.

The problem today is that we went to the other extreme and gave Latins and Blacks special privileges. It was wrong when whites had them and it is wrong when others have them.

For example, I think social security was a mistake, but things are the way they are and it's not going away.

Mark Levin has the right way to address this issue: that a system that people have involuntarily paid into all their working lives - 10,20,30,40,50 years - is very different from a proposed new system.
