Yesterday, he had a long talk with ?Jim Wallis. That was the addiction stuff.

Anyway, the day B4, a lady doc from Nat Geo had already explained to him why the guv couldn't do it; we don't have garages full of ROVs and rigs.
Chris needs to smoke a few doobs and get a grip.

Ya know what it is, maybe? I'm used to keeping my head in the middle of life threatening events. Doesn't do any good to shout at me "But my kid is dying". Doesn't do any good for me to scream at the doc, "but their kid is dying." Fuck; we know the kid is dying; we just have to do our job the best we can, and maybe think of a better way to do it in real time.

"Would Dr. Paul oppose the government's power to inspect and certify the safety of food sources and restaurants? Does he favor government's ability to require businesses to pay minimum wages, refrain from hiring illegal immigrants and cease discriminatory practices in the workplace? Are laws forbidding sales of alcohol and tobacco to minors an unwarranted intrusion into business transactions? Is the federal government wrong to sue Toyota for allegedly covering up safety-related problems? Do consumer protections in areas ranging from lending practices, to credit-card charges, to regulation of utility rates represent unjustified government interference in businesses?"

Yes, yes, yep, yeah, and uh huh.
