This is the weekly update of the LRCX and WFR tables in terms of earnings estimate and price changes. There were no changes to earnings estimates for either LRCX or WFR. Prices were down for both stocks.

This was a notable week for WFR but not in a good sense. Looking at the bottom line number for price and the calculations, the price closed down 0.39 or 3.5 percent from the lows established on 11/21/08. Taking a little closer look at the numbers on 11/21/08, earnings estimates for both years stood at 3.48, but obviously coming down fast. The earnings estimates continued to come down until 1/29/10 when Curr Yr was -0.20 and Nxt Yr was 0.78 and price was 12.58. Now the earnings estimates have come up to 0.68 and 1.17, but the price has further deteriorated to 11.01. At the moment, the "market" does not like this stock!

Meanwhile, LRCX continues to roll along with ever increasing earnings numbers and a price which is somewhat flat since the first of the year. Even though since 1/1/10, earnings estimates have gone from 1.37 and 2.45 to 2.41 and 3.71, the price has decreased just a little bouncing around in the 40 to 34 area.
