There's something distant and removed about worrying about the ocean/gulf and the dead fishes (many whom would have been caught and killed and consumed by humans, anyways), rather than thinking of the 11 humans killed working a job to feed our addiction. as the coal miners were... and a few more since the Massey mine blow-up.

And some say... well, why don't they 'improve' themselves and get a better safer job. well... if they all did that, how would our lights stay on or our cars run? a buncha lil lords laughing at the ignant serfs who mine the coal for their lights and work the rigs to bring them oil.

I was very pleased with Obama going to WV to honor those fallen. The folks on rigs... they are from all over, it's not the same sort of 'community', but I wish we could have some sort of something for them. they died to run our cars and they knew going in that was a possibility... less often than with miners, but the danger is always there.

"I only recognize one species, the human species. "

Then why are you worried about the oil gusher? 11 humans died, and no more should. It's over; move along.

That is not what I was talking about. I only recognize one speies of humans. And it had nothign to do with th oil spill, but was about adoption.

The gulf is going to be devastated.
