If Kentucky is voting for Mitch McConnell and possibly Rand Paul and Kentucky has a significant;y larger number of Democrats than Republicans, then what has it got to do with North and South. Since the state's population only can vote for a State's senator, what else can we conclude hen we see Republicans getting elected from the Senate. What is the excuse of those Democrats not getting out to vote? Is it because they are Southerners or because they do not have the desire to go and vote. Not having a desire to do something is what I consider lazy. I had a burning desire to come here and I did no matter what.

Besides, the current generation should not be merely singing praises of the past generations. They need to produce the fire in their bellies to keep up the fighting spirit of their forebears and maintain that record of achievement. One needs to just take a look at the politics of today and that which prevailed 60 years ago.

I hope the Kentucky Democrats come out to vote for the Democratic candidate in droves and not let this to be another Massachusetts.
