janski, and Ed S. from what i have learned, the NTT 'deal' and ancr's contribution was to assist in the standards process....that's it and if anything more comes out of it = bonus.

As ancr attains more and more new customers, it's becoming apparent they are or appear to be working with potential OEM partners.....I like that. Sun and SGI work stations.......

and Ed S. your comments seem course at times, your baggage; but I wonder if you have asked the new and seemingly high powered new management team who may know more about the FC market place than you if they all decided to throw away their careers on a dead company. And these little bits of business, although not bread and butter (storage OEM's) tell me the glass is half-full...... Boeing/AWACS is their a more sopiscated aircraft system in the world? is their a larger aircraft manufacturer in the world other than Boeing? "The World's largest Telescope"....heck I don't really know ed, but sounds like ancr products are the cream of the crop.....I'll give em some time

Tom

Janski,

I am at work so I can't look, but I think I have already posted the LAN diagram for the telescope and refer to it in several posts as a "hybrid" LAN, because of the ATM components. I will look later. I don't know why Ancor hasn't advertised it sooner - it is an outstanding example (along with the AWACS LAN) of how you can integrate the network, the WAN, and storage with Ancor FC.
