I agree about the work. Judges will process the umpty ump people paraded before them to the best of their ability. I'm not impugning judges at all, just considering the practical aspect of meting out justice in 90 second considerations, and the likely hood that the reformation aspect of prison is working.

SOMETHING isn't working. It appears systemic. More of the same does not appear to be the solution. IMO.

Working at least 8 hours a day is a good habit inmates should learn.

Especially since it would be a first for most of them, not just an 8 hour workday but working any legitimate job.....
