Today Ken Salazar spoke about putting Dr. Chu upfront and the government using its entire scientifc capabilities to address this oil blowout situation. I specifically posted many days ago that I thought Dr. Stven Chu would be a perfect point man to coordinate the scientific community to address this calamity and what I thought they should be doing. Everything Ken Salazar said today about wratcheting up the governments involvement in this debacle, and putting a full court press on BP,is exactly what I have been pressing for, for days now. I said nothing more. And getting a lot of heat for doing so, for reasons I am sure I will go to my death trying to figure out!
