You'd have to ask them.

>> Link please.

Link? WTF? It only happened on April 29. Have you already forgotten it?

>> And what is it that Obama could have done? Be specific.

I have no idea. I'm only saying we've had nearly a month during which the administration could have acted. If it is determined a failure to act resulted in beaches from MS to FL were destroyed and something might have been done, Obama will be to blame to the extent he didn't act.

Ted, > What is the reason the Corps has been unresponsive?

Doesn't that sound like a problem that Obama could solve, but neglects to?

This is all on Obama's watch, and he's been treating this with much less urgency than he should have.

Ted, even the LATimes is starting to call out Obama on his tough talk and relative inaction:

Obama administration talks tough, but carries small club in gulf oil crisis

It was Theodore Roosevelt who famously counseled: Speak softly and carry a big stick. When it comes to dealing with what is shaping up to be the nation's worst oil disaster, the Obama administration finds itself trapped into doing the opposite.
