The latest Pew Poll noted that around 40% of the population considers themselves conservative and about 20% say they are liberal. Yeah, but that's because the term "liberal" has been bashed into the ground over the course of the last two generations. I think you're right to some degree but I think most Americans see themselves as conservative. I think they have to be re educated about liberalism and I am hoping that Obama will help that cause by getting us out of the mess created under Bush.
