Alan,
I seem to recall that last winter/spring or so, QNTM announced that there was a problem with the Bigfoots, but that it had been fixed. I think that they even had to take some back from HP. It is slightly distressing to me that they replaced the drive with a Maxtor, though, and not with another Bigfoot.

I can't recall the details of this, though. When did you buy your original drive/computer? What brand of clone was it? (Just curious.)

Does anyone else remember this, by any chance?
